Bracknell Forest Giants come to town

Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon have teamed up to bring the borough’s extensive forest into Bracknell town centre, with the UK’s largest tree giants striding into town.

Since setting the goal to become carbon neutral by 2050, Bracknell Forest Council has developed a new climate change strategy and action plan that is already well underway.

Urgent Care Centre reopens at Brants Bridge

The Urgent Care Centre at Brants Bridge, Bracknell, will reopen to walk-in appointments for minor injuries from Monday 19 July 2021.

This means the Urgent Care Centre has now fully reinstated the full range of services for local people which were in place before the pandemic.

Grab-a-jab in town centre extended after hundreds vaccinated

A grab-a-jab service set up in The Lexicon, Bracknell has been extended by an extra 5 days to allow more people to be vaccinated.

The COVID-19 vaccination pop-up clinic, located in Union Square (near to Primark), will be in place:

Wednesday 14 July to Saturday 17 July, between midday and 7pm
Sunday 18 July between midday and 5pm.
