Biodiversity is the variety of all life. The woodlands, parks, countryside and open spaces help make Bracknell Forest a place where families and individuals want to live in and it is something we are committed to protecting and enhancing.
Bracknell Forest's Biodiversity plans promote people and organisations working together to deliver action for biodiversity locally. We work on local biodiversity initiatives in partnership with other organisations, voluntary groups and local communities on projects to improve and protect the local wildlife.
Action plan 2018 to 2023
Bracknell Forest's Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP), which runs from 2018 to 2023, was approved on 17 of July 2018.
The former BAP ran from 2012 to 2017. It was reviewed at the end of its period, the 'lessons learnt' were used to produce the current plan.
